PADUCAH, Ky. (Dec. 7, 2023)—CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial technology and software, announced today it has appointed longtime financial services veteran Troy Bradley as CTO. Bradley holds more than 35 years of experience leading product development teams and delivering purpose-built technologies across banking, delivery channels, payments, and other essential community banking capabilities delivered on-premise and in the cloud, assuring adherence to enterprise architecture and open banking principles.
As CTO, Bradley will lead CSI’s technology modernization strategy, aligning its network, security and software engineering initiatives and bringing to market a comprehensive financial services platform with a focus on open architecture and improving customers’ efficiencies and flexibility.
“I’ve spent my entire career in financial services working with and listening to community banks,” Bradley said. “While the technology of the industry has changed over 30 years, the underlying principles have not. Banks want technologies that drive efficiency, offer flexibility and enable growth across their lines of business, and they want a partner that places equal emphasis on delivering innovation and building lasting relationships. It’s clear to me that CSI is that partner—the comprehensive solutions provider that seeks to lead the industry’s evolution by prioritizing the needs of community banks above everything else.”
Bradley joins CSI after three years as corporate vice president and chief information and technology officer at NCR Corporation, where he led the company’s payment solutions engineering and operations teams. Prior to NCR, he spent more than seven years at FIS as global chief technology officer, leading corporate strategy and product innovation. He has also held roles as an independent consultant in financial services and as the senior vice president and CTO of Metavante, a position he held for 20 years.
“There’s a significant market gap today between what community banks require to grow on a national scale and what technology providers are delivering,” said David Culbertson, CEO and president of CSI. “Community banks are seeking solutions that they can integrate quickly to meet the evolving needs of their account holders and accelerate growth, whether in payments, lending, commercial banking or deposits. Even more than that, they want open technology partners they can rely on and trust to deliver solutions at scale. Troy has the mentality, experience and skillset to excel in meeting that challenge while aligning our team behind a strategic vision anchored in growth—not just for CSI, but for every one of our customers.”
Bradley’s appointment comes on the heels of a record-breaking first half of the 2024 fiscal year that saw CSI close 20 core deals. Since then, the company also announced Nick Reising as senior vice president of corporate development and signed a flagship partnership with Dragonfly Financial Technologies to expand its cash management solutions for businesses across ACH, positive pay and sweep accounts.
